Footy Tipping 2011

This is our third year of running our tipping competition and it's great to see the number of tippers grow.

We operate by participants entering their tips online at our official footy tipping website. A link to this site is at the bottom of this page.

Competition Rules

Entry Fee
Entry fee is $50.00 for the season.

Scoring
Points for correctly tipped win: 1
Draws cannot be selected.
Bonus awarded for all games correct: 1

The competition ladder is sorted by score then alphabetically by name.

Default Tips
Default tips for tippers who fail to enter tips will be Lowest In The Round.
Tippers who receive a default score are ineligible for the weekly prize.

Closing the Round

The rounds close at 4.30pm on Friday afternoons except when there is a Thursday night game then it closes off at 4.30pm Thursday.

Weekly Prize
The weekly prize is $20.00

The prize is awarded to the competitor with the most number of points whose predicted tie-breaker is most accurate.
A prize is awarded every week.

The tie-breaker is the margin from a specified game.
In the event of a tie, the tipper whose predicted margin is closest to the actual winning margin is the weekly prize winner.

End of Season Prizes

Calculated once all participants all participants are entered into the software.

Name and Alias (if you wish to have one);

A Password to access your tipping profile online;

Phone Number;

Email address to receive ladders, correspondence etc;

And a postal address to receive the winning cheque.

Entries plus payment of $50.00 are to be received at our office no later than 5pm Friday the 18th of March 2011.

Family and friends are welcome to join so please don't forget to ask.
